Apple + CTA




Apple has reportedly agreed to $4M in renovations of a Chicago CTA station, including the naming rights and first dibs on advertising rights at the station. The site is located near a soon-to-be-opening Apple Store. Cash strapped CTA is using this as an opportunity to generate revenue. Not unsimilar to this is the tale of New York's MTA selling naming rights of the Brooklyn-Atlantic Avenues station to UK
s Barclays earlier this year. Full store here.

The Bloodhand Gang

We came across some classic early 1980's PBS programming on YouTube. Remember the show 3-2-1 Contact? Well there was a segment with a bunch of kid dectectives called The Bloodhound Gang. Font Bureau sues NBC


Those zippy fall promotional graphics that have been blazing the "colorful" screens of NBC have become the subject of a lawsuit that claims NBC did not have the proper licensing of Bureau Grotesque, Interstate and Antenna. See this link for the actual PDF of the suit.

Why not to TEXT and DRIVE

We need more honesty here in the US to make our drivers more aware of the dangers of TEXTING and DRIVING. We think that this PSA recently released in the UK gets the message across.
